Dilution

Aim:

I want to investigate how to dilute a solution

Equipment:

• 10mL measuring cylinder 
• 6 Test tube rack
• Beaker
• Test tube 
• Potassium permanganate 

Method:

•  We filled the measuring cylinder in 10mL
• And we add 10mL of water to a test tube
• Then we add 9mL of water to 5 more tests tubes.
• And add the first 10mL test tube of water
• We Add 1mL of the second tube into the third test tube.
• And  we Add 1mL of the third test tube into the fourth test tube.
• And we Add 1mL of the fourth test tube into the fifth test tube.
• And we Add 1mL of the fifth test tube into the sixth test tube.

Holes Essay

              Holes is a novel written by Luis Sachar. It´s about Stanley yelnats, a boy who often teased at school because he´s overweight. Stanley has extremely low confidence. And his dad was an inventor but his invention wasn´t even work at all, and when stanley is wrongly accused of stealing a pair sneakers, he is sent to a juvenile detention centre called Camp Green Lake. During his stay there, a whole new world opens up to him involving new friends, treasure and digging lots of holes. A juvenile detention centre can be compared to prison, but the difference is that it´s for minors that breaks the law. That person is held there for a period of time, depending on how serious the crime was and if he/she is considered out in the community. When stanley was sent to Camp green lake I think he got some kind of confident boost because he got to know many friends, and the most important part. He became accepted, and i think that really made him feel like he was a part of something special and that he finally felt like he belonged somewhere, knowing that he has got friends around him going through the same thing might have kept him from going completely mad at a tough place like Camp Green Lake, where digging holes out in the hot sun is supposedly  ¨Character Building¨. Really, if you think about it stanley was never even a bad boy, so why should he be punished for a crime he did not commit? .

However, later in the book i find out that the warden is not making boys dig holes for discipline, she´s looking for a treasure because she is a decedent of trout and Linda Walker, the people who were once the owner of Green Lake. This mean that the whole idea behind digging hole per day is all based on a lie.

My Holiday

   In my holiday i went to youth camp in Glenroy with my friends and my siblings, it was fun because i learn some God´s words and i learn how to communicate with each others. And we play to south hornby with my brother and friends we played basketball, football and frisbee. In my house we always have a dinner with my parents friends.
