Introduction of Lathes
Introduction:
A lathe operates on the principle of a rotating work piece and a fixed cutting tool. The cutting tool is feed into the work piece, which rotates about its own axis, causing the work piece to be formed to the desired shape.
How to set up the Lathes:
Emergency:
In case of emergeny you can just push the brake under the machine using your foot to stop the machine running and if you take your foot off in the brake, you have to restart the machine again, like what you do at the beginning.
this are the example pictures of theLathes:
What Lathes can do?:
Lathes can do two things, first this can drill a hole wherever you want the hole to put, and the second thing this can turn the material in other shape and this can make your material flats, instead of using the file.

- Slide the live center in the headstock, and the dead center in the tail stock.
- Put a guide bar in between the two centers.
- Put the dial indicator on the stand.
- Put the stand on the carriage.
- Apply pressure towards the bar with the dial indicator.
- Once applied pressure, move the carriage along the bar.
- Slide the chuck on the head and turn the screw clockwise on the head until it's tight.
- Turn the chuck by hand to check that everything is snug.

Migration
Today, in Social Studies we are learning about the Migration, and I learn that the migration is like a movement of a person or an animal from one place to another. We create a simple show for our presentation to explain the migration and the push and pull factors.
What is Migration
Migration is the movement of a person (or an animal) From one country to another.
there are some reasons why they are moving to another country
The reasons for migration can be economic, social, political or environmental.
There are usually push factors and pull factors at work.
What are the Pull and Push factors of migration?.
pull factors is something that attracts people to go and live in a particular place.
Push factors come in many forms. Sometimes these factors leave people with no choice but to leave their country of origin.

Tomorrow When The War Began - Chapter Seven (Group Work)
Must Do Questions :
- Is the decision to split into smaller groups a wise one? Give reasons. I think it is a good idea because just like Homer said, it’s better if they will be caught in small numbers instead everybody gets caught.
2. Predict what you think has happened to Lee and Robyn?
We think that Lee and Robyn got lost on their way to their meeting point because they went into their houses.
3. How is Ellie’s image of Kevin changing in this chapter?
Ellie’s perspective to Kevin changed because she noticed that Kevin can actually be helpful and cooperative. He can also give good ideas that will have a positive effect.

Tomorrow, When The War Began: Chapter 4
Do you think the way they handled the snake incident was appropriate? What could they have done differently?
I think it is appropriate how they handle it because it can work if they handled the situation correctly. I could also say no because of the aftermath of their plan.
Ellie claims that ‘Hell’ is only a label and that people label things all the time, often ignoring or overlooking certain labelled places or things. She then comes to the conclusion that ‘Hell was people’. Is she right? What’s your opinion, on labelling and Hell? I think people who tried to go to "hell" metaphorically just named the place "hell" because of how dangerous the place is. She is also right when how people label things on their angle or point of view.
What was especially peculiar about the planes that flew over Hell? their frightened me.’ Do these characteristics have any significance? The time and way they flew are odd and unusual because it's three or four o'clock in the morning. It is also unnatural that a dozen aircraft flew in an odd period of time.
Corrie and Kevin are the only couples in the group, but the trip was bound to bring friends closer. So why does Homer’s interest in Fi seem so odd to Ellie? Ellie describes Homer as a naughty, irritating and a troublesome person so it's unusual to a person like Homer to ask a question about a girl. Homer also said to people that he doesn't have any feelings so it's strange that Homer asked Ellie about Fi. There is no information given by I think Ellie is jealous that Homer has feelings for Fi.
Fi brushes off the planes coming back from Commemoration Day. Why do you think the planes were flying over Wirrawee? Wirrawee is currently celebrating an event so possibly there are places where people are crowded or people is bunched up together.

Robyn claims there were dozens and dozens of planes flying over them. What is Lee’s response? Is his suggestion reasonable? Lee said that they were probably being invaded without them knowing about it. He also said it could potentially be the start of World War III. It could be possible because everybody is focused on the current event.
