Power of One SEXXY English

What we did in English is, we made a sexxy paragraph about the Power of One. Were working as a group and i have been with jhade and Vince.

this is what we write as a group in sexxy paragraph:
Statement: The director uses a long shot to show that the guard knows GP’ is up to something.

Example: The long shot shows both Sergeant Bormans legs in the foreground and GP in the backgrounds we also see Borman’s baton in his hand. Geel Piet asks P.K if he can have the tobacco that they use for the plants. The guard then knows that Geel Piet always brings a bucket so the guard suspect that Geel Piet is up to something. So they used a long shot.

Explanation: They used a long shot so the scene is dramatic or showing information that Geel Piet will be in trouble

Explanation: The effect of the scene on us the audience is that we feel something is about to happen to Geel Piet we feel worried or anxious.

Your Link: This shot links the scene when Jappie Bortha set the boxing gym on fire, Jappie Bortha uses his power to make the others weak. It connects because both Sergeant Borman uses his position when he beats up Geel Piet.

Metal Reflection

Image result for bench drill
Safety using Bench Drill:
  • Find a partner
  • Wear goggles when drilling materials
  • Follow the teacher instructions carefully
  • Don´t hold any material by hand while drilling material
How to use Bench Drill:
Tap the end of the drill lightly with a soft hammer to seat firmly. Another method used to seat the drill into the sleeve is to place a block of wood on the machine table and force the drill down onto the block. Speed refers to the revolutions per minute of the drilling machine spindle.

Safety using Polishing/Buffing Machine:
  • Wear safety glasses (small pieces of mop and polish will fly out of the machine whilst it is being used. Goggles will prevent damage to eyes).
  • Check grinding wheels for cracks before mounting.
  • Never operate grinding wheels at speeds in excess of the recommended speed.
Purpose of Polishing/Buffing Machine:
Buffers thoroughly clean, polish, shine and wax floors.
They do an excellent job giving additional shine and polish almost every floor type.
Buffer machines tend to be heavy. However, once you've got the basics down they will definitely make your floors look good.
Professional floor cleaners use buffing and polishing machines because they do the job a lot better than hand scrubbing and polishing.
You should always use safety goggles when you use a buffer machine or polisher.

The Ice Man - Otzi

Where was otzi found?
Ötzi was found on 19 September 1991 by two German tourists, at an elevation of 3,210 metres (10,530 ft) on the east ridge of the Fineilspitze in the Ötztal Alps on the Austrian–Italian border.

What were the problems trying to recover otzi?
While trying to recover otzi the left hip was damaged because of the constant melting water flow.

Why did otzi remain intact?
Otzi´s body remained intact due to the frozen ice that surrounded his body.

When did otzi live?
the Iceman lived between 3350 and 3100 BC, We know this because the text said the Iceman was alive some 5.000 years ago.

Explain carbon dating.
Carbon-Dating is when the organism dies, the flow of C14 is interupted, and C14 absorbed during its life.

How many tattoos does otzi have?
61 tattoos
